My Top Personal Growth Books

My Top Personal Growth Books

Over the past 6 years I started to dive deeper into my own personal growth, focusing on overcoming things that had held me back in the past.  Often the books that I am reading are specific to what I want to work on at that particular moment in time.  Over the years I started to slowly alter my routines, try new tools, work on developing healthier habits, and improve my mindset + self talk.

Here is a breakdown of the TOP books that hit home for me:

The Slight Edge - this one is up here first for a reason!

Atomic Habits - Always working towards being 1% better every single day.

High Performance Habits - For whatever reason when I read this book it gave me so many tools to take myself + my business to the next level.

Mind Gym - my fave sports psych book + one I often revisit.  Any and every athlete could benefit from this one.

Open - Andre Agassi:  I love autobiography style books on athletes - this one reels you in.  The internal battles, mental growth, and mindset behind an elite athlete in a sport that I've always thought would be tough.  It's just you out there!

The Miracle Morning + The 5 AM Club [similar concepts, but different approaches on how the content was relayed]

The Miracle Equation - Hal Elrod's newest book + one of my most recent reads.

The Universe Has Your Back - Gabby Bernstein.  Meditation, affirmations, breathe work, mindset shifts.

Built To Last - great business book if you're building a business like I have.  I recommend to any of my partners that I mentor.

The 12 Week Year: breaking goals down into 12 weeks instead of 1 year.  Still use these concepts with goals and in business today.

Rich Dad Poor Dad: such a great perspective on the different mindsets in relation to money, business, life, success.

You Are A Badass --- many different versions of her books that I have read/listened to, but this is the original.  Good starting point!

Can't Hurt Me: David Goggins always fires me up. His newest one Never Finished was also a good listen!

The 5 Second Rule: Mel Robbins.  Big fan of her content in general, but her books are always next level.

The Mastery Manual: easy read - filled with all the knowledge.

The School of Greatness: Lewis Howes.  My top podcast host also puts out some great content in his books.  I haven't read his newest one yet (The Greatness Mindset).

Greenlights: loved listening to this one!  More autobiography, but a lot of great take-aways.

I'm sure I will keep adding to this as I remember more gems that I have failed to remember today ;).  Hope I gave you some new titles to add to your list!
